UPDATES

One of the many features of Trade Depot is the free update service supplied by Technicom over this website. The easiest way to keep updated is to use the Utilities > Check for Updates feature built into Trade Depot. This will tell you whether a new version is available and download and install it directly from within Trade Depot. You can also set the program to automatically check for updates each time you run Trade Depot, by checking the option under View/Edit > Preferences.

As we improve, change, or add new features to our programs, we post them here on our web site for our users to download free of charge. Users may download updates to their current program at any time. Check back often to make sure your program is always up to date.

The latest version will always be listed with the highest number and most recent date. Download the update to any folder on your computer you wish. After the download is complete, simply double-click the file to initiate the update installation. This will automatically replace all program components as needed, without affecting your records. Then run Trade Depot as you normally would. You don't need to uninstall Trade Depot first and you don't need to have installed any previous updates.

The version number and date of your current program may be obtained by clicking 'Help' on the Main Menu of Trade Depot and then selecting 'About Trade Depot' .

Important! When updating, make sure to install the software in the same location as it was originally. Otherwise you will need to copy your data file over to your new folder.
